60ml Beard Balm
The Longboat, the power of the Vikings. These incredible boats allowed our ancestors to explore the world and raid where they wanted. From oceans to rivers, they navigated new and undiscovered parts of our world looking for new land to settle. Typically made from Pine, they were strong and hand crafted to perfection.
This scent takes its full inspiration from my favourite place in the world: Reykjavík, Iceland. More specifically, Sólfar - The Sun Voyager. This beautiful sculpture sits at the edge of Reykjavík overlooking the Greenland Sea. The cold Icelandic air and the fresh sea breeze revitalise your skin and senses while The Sun Voyager stands proudly in view.
Peppermint and Spearmint combine to recreate this magnificent experience while a strong note of Pine pays tribute to the sculptures inspiration.
Mighty Balm has been designed to moisturise your beard and skin while providing a mighty styling hold! For best results, pair with the matching beard oil or try mixing different scents!
Ingredients
Candelilla Wax, Mango Butter, Shea Butter, Castor Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, Essential Oils (Peppermint, Spearmint and Pine). Linalool and Limonene.
Candelilla Wax
This wax is an incredible alternative to beeswax and is vegan friendly too! It is non comedogenic so it won’t clog your pores, it’s a great moisturiser and adds shine to your mighty beard.
Mango Butter
Mango Butter strengthens hairs from the inside out, softens dry hair, helps to prevent breakages and smooths out split ends. It has a deep moisturising and regenerative effect on both the hair and skin. Why wouldn’t you want this in your beard butter?!
Shea Butter
Shea Butter needs no introduction when talking about beard care but let me run you through the basics! Full of Vitamin A & E with essential fatty acids, it adds moisture and shine to your hair without appearing greasy. It’s an awesome moisturiser that softens dry and brittle hairs while it repairs damaged hairs too.
Castor Oil
Rich in ricinoleic acids to soothe skin inflammation, castor oil also enhances the health of hair follicles which in turn promotes good hair growth.
Sweet Almond Oil
Extracted from the seeds of the Almond tree, this oil softens, strengthens and repairs hairs as well as moisturising both the hair and skin underneath.
Hemp Seed Oil
This oil is often overlooked in the UK beard market and it’s a shame as it’s a great addition to beard products, especially butters! It helps to prevent certain substances/contaminants penetrating the hair follicles, it prevents too much water being absorbed by the hair and prevents hair breakage.
Peppermint
With its fresh scent, Peppermint Essential Oil enlivens the senses. Not only that but it’s great for soothing digestive problems and relieving headaches and muscle pain to name a few. It also improves your blood circulation which can lead to healthier hair growth.
Spearmint
Being anti-fungal and antibacterial, Spearmint Essential Oil is a must for your hair and skin. It’s anti-inflammatory properties soothe and calm the skin while helping to prevent things like acne. Like Peppermint, Spearmint also promotes healthy hair so why wouldn’t you want this in your beard?
Pine
Pine Essential Oil contains antimicrobial properties that cleanse and remove bacteria from the skin as well as excess oil and dirt. This helps to prevent inflammation and itchiness but also enhances the hairs natural smoothness and shine.
